Been to the gas station recently and have to go again tomorrow! Each time I get there, the price of gas has skyrocketed anywhere from 5 to 10 cents more than the last time I visited less than a week ago!
There seems to be lots of talk about how the gas giants are to blame. Personally, I think it is a combination of things including OPEC raising the price of crude oil because they can, knowledge of raw oil supplies dwindling and running out in the not too distant future, our high demand and the increase of demand throughout the growing economies of other countries all in addition to our country’s oil businesses making huge profits.
The point is still that we are stuck with rising oil prices and need to find ways to help ourselves get more efficiency from our fuel consumption.
You can try to shop around in your local area for the best gas prices, but if you go too far, you’ll spend too much gas trying to find a deal on it. I just used the internet to look up the latest gas prices in my area so tomorrow I can find the nearest gas station with the cheapest gas prices without traveling out of my territory. There are several places where you look. One place I found, GasBuddy, came from an ebook called “59 Secret Tips to Save Money on Gas”. There were other good tips in there too. It’s worth a look/see. If you can’t use all of the tips, save the book for the next vehicle you own. Perhaps some other tips will be helpful later on.
